Professional Statement

For the past forty-five years I have promoted the German language as a teacher on various levels: elementary, junior high, senior high, college and university as well as a corporate language instructor for German companies and a teacher trainer for Boards of Education. In addition I have promoted the teaching of the German language and culture as the President of the Northern Illinois Chapter of AATG, President of the Illinois Foreign Language Teachers Association, and the National President of the German American National Congress. In addition I am the Testing Chair for the DANK German Language Schools and other schools in Chicago. I am the President of the German American Education Fund, a 501 (c)(3) organization promoting the study of German language and culture. Presently I am also serving on the Board of Directors for the German School Chicago (GSC).
