Professional Statement

During my career of almost 30 years as a language instructor in Austria, Italy and the United States, I have gained thorough knowledge and expertise in teaching the German language to students at any age and level of ability, from first grade to college.

In Austria I also advised and trained student teachers during their classroom practicum.

My main objective in promoting the German language schools and serving as a trustee at the GLSC is not only to maintain the German heritage in the US, but also to create an awareness of different ideological values and belief systems. I also hope to strengthen and nurture international understanding, an important factor considering today’s tense political situation worldwide, and ultimately contribute to world peace.
