Marianne Haug
Honorary Trustee

Marianne Haug, proud recipient of the German Federal Cross of Merit, was an active member of the GLSC since its founding in 1978 until 2006. She faithfully continued the work of her husband, Dr. Hans Haug, one of the founders of the GLSC, after his death. She brought her experience as the Head and co-founder (now honorary principal) of the Immanuel German Language School, Philadelphia, to the work of the GLSC. Her contribution to the instructional project for younger students, Jump into German, was especially important. Marianne Haug served the organization with her full engagement, professionalism and much energy. Her colleagues in the GLSC benefitted much from her experience.

The GLSC Board of Trustees thanks Marianne Haug in the name of all GLSC members.
