Professional Statement

It is essential to offer an opportunity for teaching and maintaining our German language and culture. This must happen in our Saturday schools, since public schools, and in many cases private schools, too, have abdicated their responsibility to teach foreign languages. The individual schools must find "strength in numbers" in order to maximize their effectiveness and benefit from the experience in fields like curriculum, book selection, administration, fundraising, etc. from other member schools.
