Professional Statement

Goethe, Nietzsche, Kafka, Mozart, Freud and Einstein among many other famous intellectuals spoke German. Speaking German or any other language has always been an advantage. Knowledge of languages means not only being able to communicate but also improving employment opportunities through better insights into a region that plays a vital role in Central Europe. Understanding any other language also provides a deeper understanding of culture and traditions of other people and countries. This almost always leads to improved tolerance. Our students are educated to not only be able to speak and write German, but also to be ambassadors for the German speaking countries right here in America. Because they acquired a deep understanding of culture, traditions and much more. And I feel very privileged as an educator to contribute.
